These providers do their homework on what their customer is looking for in cable services. For example, there is DIRECTV which boasts a low monthly fee for 12 months. They provide up to 225 channels, free HDTV, HBO, STARZ, CINEMAX, Showtime, and NFL ticket night depending upon what package is purchased.
The cable and Internet providers in my area vie for their customer's service by offering the biggest, the brightest, and the best of what satellite can provide. They offer competitive prices, fast hook-up time, and discounts for new or returning customers.
XFINITY, which is a Comcast service, also offers a great variety of programming. Watch everything from sports to ballet; from first-run plays to children's shows. There is nothing left behind. Verizon is also a high-speed Internet service provider that is available in my area. They also provide excellent customer service including TV, Internet and land-line phone service - not just for the homeowner but for the business owner as well. Other companies such as AT&T, which have been around for a very long time are just as competitive a service as Comcast, Verizon and DIRECTIVE are.
Internet services in my area are second to none. Whenever there is a problem with the power lines, the company comes out right away and checks out the issue. If it can't be fixed right away there is a discount on your next bill. If you order new service and the personnel can't reach you in a particular amount of time, there is also a discount attached to your first bill. Competition is fierce but a good thing for the consumer. The cost savings are always welcome.
